  The Heartbreak Kid 1972

  My only issue was that this film could have profited from some better editing. At times, it was slightly off—poorly assembled, a home-made feel to it. This was actually charming, quite nice; yet the irony and the comedic saturation of the film could have been more pronounced given more coherent and creative editing.
  Otherwise, this story was excellent, and as I always do, I appreciated how this film was tastefully funny. Determination isn’t what it seems, after all. And I loved the settings, dialogue, and abrupt nature of it. Still, I think this last piece could be improved. But overall, I really recommend this one.
