Speak No Evil 2024
Not a wasted remake but also not as good as it could have been. I appreciate the alternate direction they took in this remake, however, the ending was predictably exciting but unfortunately cowardly.
James McAvoy delivered yet another stellar performance and I think that is really the saving grace of the film.

Everything I hoped for and more! It gave me closure after waiting for over a decade and a half on some characters and stories. They addressed all the forgotten heroes and the messy Disney-Fox merger, and they didn’t shy away from acknowledging the behind the scenes screw ups.
