Really love this movie, but I will say, James Ransone popping up does take me out of it a bit.
Nonetheless, a frenetic, character-driven, almost at times “Slackers-like,” joyride of a movie. In the same way most of Sean Baker’s movies do, you’re a little scared, then you fully settle in and are having a lot of fun, and then you’re left sitting in some deep sadness wondering why the world is the way it is sometimes, especially for some.
