Within the surreal and sometimes absurd world Lynch and Frost have created, despite the dark spiritual parade reigning over the town of Twin Peaks, the real evil lies within the hearts of the common folk. A masterpiece in all senses. A finely crafted work of surrealist cinema, admirable worldbuilding and expansion, and a touching piece that really tells us to fix our hearts or die. May be Lynch's magnum opus, though I feel Lost Highway deserves a rewatch before the title being claimed.

Visions of Eight 1973
I’ve been lead to appreciate more structurally ambiguous documentary films, ones that focus more on immersing you within a moment in time rather than tell it to you straight. Visions of Eight does this wonderfully; all of the adrenaline, pain, anxiety, and excitement felt.

Dune: Part Two 2024
we’re witnessing one of the most legendary film trilogies play out in real time. not a second is dull, no scene uninteresting. this is without a doubt Villeneuve’s magnum opus.
