Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I appreciated the fact they tried to return to the espionage element which made Winter Soldier so successful. Did not appreciate how much of an Incredible Hulk sequel it was. A film, while technically a part of the MCU, is generally disregarded.
The youthful part of me will always find blissful enjoyment with comic book movies, especially ones starring a main comic book character. A Brave New World was no exception to this for me personally, despite its flaws.

Wicked 2024
I enjoyed this movie much more than I thought I would. I grew up rewatching The Wizard of Oz a lot of with my little sister. To the point that my attitude towards it soured a bit, and it creeped me out to be quite honest.
Wicked, however, was a much more comfortable viewing experience. Something I may have to attribute a lot to Jonathan Bailey. I was already a huge fan because of his work on Bridgerton, but my goodness the dude is incredibly charming in this movie.

Biggest takeaway: What a performance from Robert Pattinson. Just absolutely stellar. Not one The Academy will recognize him for, especially given the March release of this film. Though those who actually enjoy movies will undoubtedly acknowledge the job well done.
I also really enjoyed the overt satire from Mark Ruffalo’s character and his performance. Hollywood is already accused of being the most woke form of media to the plague the planet, I hope more directors lean into mocking the MAGAs.…
