i’ve spent the past 5 years being told i’d love this movie by every person i’ve ever met because “it’s about class” and i found it fun but ultimately disappointing. while discussing, Will shared the idea of “class aware nihilism” and i found that a very apt description and part of why i didn’t especially enjoy the film. No class solidarity, no real reflection on the lack of it.
