Been on an 80s kick recently so I enjoyed the setting, but this movie has not aged very well.

Surprisingly decent psychological horror. Music choices in this will obviously be good, so I’m a little biased. Somehow this is the second movie about SA I’ve seen this month, so this is genuinely really hard to watch at times. It’s shortcoming is it’s a pretty derivative, being heavily influenced by Get Out but it still manages to do something interesting with the concept.

The first half is boring bad, the second half is hilariously bad. It’s so close to being so bad that it’s ironic performance art, but unfortunately the first half is a slog. It’s filled with endless cliches and the last act feels like it never ends. All in all, half star each for Dua Lipa, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the cgi cat.
