Can’t believe I hadn’t seen this until now. Casting for this couldn’t be more perfect. I believed every single word these three leading ladies said. Loved the way it was filmed, loved the script, and quite literally, beautiful gown.

After Hours 1985
Really really enjoyed this. What an interesting concept. Very fascinating way to paint a bad night out. Love some of the cinematic choices and was really obsessed with the score. Lead protagonist gave an excellent performance, as well. Loved the subtle tinges of surrealism intertwined throughout the course of the film.

If you know me, you know “coming of age” films are arguably my favorite sub genre of cinema. This one really hits close to home in many ways. A young teenage boy trying to find himself, altering his personality and often times compromising his morals. Circa 2008 mind you. That anxious feeling, I’ve now grown out of, of not being accepted or feeling like I had to comprise who I am at my core. This feeling came flooding back to me a couple times throughout the duration of this film. For that alone, a job well done imo. Entertaining and EMOTIONAL.
