Didn’t know we needed a southwest muscle mommy lesbian romance action crime thriller but I’m happy we got one.
You know when you’re making dinner, and you’ve got multiple things cooking on the stove and maybe a salad going on the side, and you’re trying to get everything to finish at the same time? On cinematography/ visuals this is a 5/5 movie. Acting (for the most part) is 5/5. Drawbacks: the story dragged on. While some people have issues with the plot itself, my complaint is more with the execution/ delivery of said plot.
Don’t let people tell you this movie is like silence of the lambs. It is not, and going in with that perspective I think does a disservice to this movie and the viewer. I look forward to watching it again without that preconception.
