  Okay look. We all see it, there is a sharp tonal divide between Bong's American and Korean movies. Maybe the Korean films kinda make more sense--they are certainly more serious, more thematically nuanced, and have like real people in real relationships.

  BJH does not miss, even on the first one! Such a crazy first movie the premise is wild lmao

  Lots of thematic threads here that pop up in his later films

  It drags a bit at the end for me but it's still got the zaniness, awesome imagery, and setups/call backs that I love from director Bong!!

  If this came out before fury road, it would probably be hailed as a groundbreaking visual action masterpiece. However, it came out after fury road so it seems like a slightly worse version of fury road which is still a very very good, thrilling, jawsroppingly impressive movie. Still made me want to die historic on the fury road!!!
