    Okay look. We all see it, there is a sharp tonal divide between Bong's American and Korean movies. Maybe the Korean films kinda make more sense--they are certainly more serious, more thematically nuanced, and have like real people in real relationships.

    Lots of thematic threads here that pop up in his later films

    It drags a bit at the end for me but it's still got the zaniness, awesome imagery, and setups/call backs that I love from director Bong!!
