Kinds of Kindness 2024
Dark, heavy, mysterious to the point of borderline confusing. Three acts, all very loosely connected only by themes of power and the lengths you go for things you love and “kindness” you show. Super strange one but thought provoking nonetheless. I do really love Lanthimos. I know if he’s involved it’s gonna be a profound one.

MLK: The Assassination Tapes 2012
Really nice to see all of these clips colorized, I’m so conditioned to seeing them in black and white (hmm wonder why). It gives a lot of insight into the few days before and after his assassination and how it was handled by everyone involved. I would have liked to to see how his death affected the movement more, but for what it was, it was pretty well done.
