yeah this is actually good. the animation is cool and good enough but nothing that extraordinary. pretty average animation. it’s also pretty long for an animated film. gets to be a lot to handle towards the end. don’t know when i’ll get to see ne zha 2 but after seeing this I see the hype and its very much deserving of the money it’s making. it’s a cool and fun watch.

chinese animation cinema is doing it right. take notes disney.

This is now definitively my favorite film of all time, and I don't think it's particularly close. Is it the greatest movie of all time? I don't know, maybe, it's certainly amongst the conversation. This is my generations film. I will live the rest of my life through this film.

Villeneuve's direction... Denis has solidified himself as the best working director today. Yes, I said it. I'm the biggest Nolan guy out there but nobody is working at the level…

“Overrated as fuck in my opinion” - EDP445. However, I can’t deny the fact this movie would be dope if maybe I was 7 years old. Highlights of the film were simply hearing Salma Hayek and Florence Pugh speak. Wasn’t blown away by the “spectacular animation” I was hearing all over social media. On top of that, so much for a menacing villain that I was hearing all about, he was severely underutilized and wasn’t as good as I expected at all. Everything just didn’t live up to the hype as a whole. Rather disappointing to be frank.
