Very big fan of the pacing of the movie. Also I’ve seen a lot of people critique how it villainizes aging and older women and signs of visible aging, but after watching I think even more that the opposite is true. I feel like the grotesque body horror is a great tool in the narrative to depict social attitudes towards aging and women. There are external social factors forcing these women (Elisabeth and Sue) into grotesque situations by upholding beauty…
