  Omg the court room scenes are unparalleled. The dialogue is incredible and builds tension like no other.
  Even at the end of the film I was skeptical of her innocence.

  This film is both beautiful and devastating. It’s a film about WWII shown from the perspective of a young Jewish child who is forced to make adult decisions in order to flee Nazi control. 
  Jojo and his older brother, Maurice, are placed in an impossible situation when they’re asked to travel alone from Paris to Nice to regroup with their family.
  It’s a harrowing insight into the brutality of WWII and Nazi Germany, and the lengths Jewish people would go to to survive.
  I’ve seen this film several times now and it brings me to tears each time.
