It's common for me to wonder about the point of making your film stop motion, of what it adds to the exercise and what it takes away. In this case I feel it is most certainly additive. Not only for the sake of the depiction of humanoid characters, but because to me it is the style that allows…
Wonderfully restrained, it gives you just enough information for you to take your thinking in whatever way you want. The ending feels imperfect, but the journey is certainly worth it! Color is great, as well as a general semblance of atmosphere. Production feels doctored and yet natural at the same time (good old verisimilitude).
