This movie makes me quietly very upset. Hard to describe. You really feel for Hauers character. He’s consistently unsettling somewhat to that point so his sudden emotional vulnerability makes it striking.

Every time I watch this film it's late and I can barely stay awake by the end. I end up falling in and out of sleep with the main character at the Colonel's compound. I love this movie so much, don't watch any version other than Redux, you'll never want to forget.
