Priscilla 2023
Gentle, dreamy, and intoxicating, but overall a little flat. The cinematography is wonderful, with Philippe Le Sourd cleverly utilising textures to drop us directly into Graceland's grounds. The performances for the most part are grand, however (as pointed out by my girlfriend - credit where it's due) Priscilla's journey is gargantuan as she is whisked away by the King of Rock and Roll and given everything her heart desires, but Cailee Spaeny doesn't seem to change from the opening scene…
