  The most tone deaf Nosferatu, oscillating every 5 to 10 minutes in it's presentation and feel. I really enjoyed the first of Eggers' work but the man seems to have punched his card. Dafoe is a usual standout and Depp has moments of shine but overall a dull cast that would have shined brighter in a tighter, shorter and weirder movie than we got. Shame to see such a young director lack any assurance in their ability to get weird with it.

  Alien: The Ride is far from an enjoyable or new movie from a creative perspective but it works well enough as a series of well designed set pieces, motifs, sound bytes and dragged up lines to drag you through what would better serve as a 10 minute ride at Disneyland. The added runtime of Romulus would be better enjoyed with my friends waiting in line than it was spent in the theater.
