  this movie is like the most accurate embodiment of how i felt when i was depressed. when maddy says she knows she’ll die if she stays here, the way that years feel like seconds, the idea that this life is actually a punishment and there is another world that is the real one. i felt like that so often when i was depressed cause that was the only way i could let myself keep existing, was the idea that there would one day be something more. anyways very much tmi all of this but!
