Stunning feature debut for director Quick and cinematographer Joss. The film is confident, relying not on flash, but faith in mature, intertwined stories well-told by a surprisingly sharp cast and beautifully-composed visuals on the cheap. Can’t wait to see what this duo makes next.

No Other Land 2024
If, after watching this heart-crushing doc, you are immediately discussing politics rather than reeling from the cruelty and inhumanity, take a moment and ask yourself what you are defending.
Settlers, occupiers. colonists, land barons, developers and gentrifiers hide behind Law and Capitalism, Eminent Domain, manifest destiny and/or God’s will to excuse the displacement (and abuse, torture and murder) of others, but nothing can make their actions right.
Later, ask yourself why this film could not, did not receive mainstream distribution.
