Powerful movie. Great soundtrack. Andrew Scott definitely deserves the Golden Globes nomination he got for this.

Jacob Elordi is a better Elvis than Austin Butler was and Cailee Spaeny is great, but this movie was such a snooze.

It’s a MIRACLE this movie didn’t ruin the idea of sequels in the MCU. It’s sloppy, Sam Rockwell plays the typical asshole he plays in most movies, it’s essentially a rehash of the first Iron Man, Mickey Rourke is too over the top. The only good things we get out of this is Don Cheadle and Scarlett Johansson (in her first appearance as MCU icon Black Widow).

I'm a sucker for movies like this, that are centered on sports but don't really require a ton of knowledge about sports. Basketball takes a back seat to character growth throughout the movie and Ben Afleck does a great job here. Not only that, the movie has enough different turns that keep it from veering in to sports movie cliche. Very, very good movie.
