This was probably the most pleasant, wonderful thing I’ve watched in a long time. Having been born in ‘73, and raised by Loggins/Folgeberg/Doobie Bros fans, it was a treat to see how all of this evolved into the yacht rock genre.

Went in knowing nothing, and had a hard time figuring out what they wanted the tone of the movie to be. For a bit it felt like Schitt’s Creek meets Midsommar, but once the twist kicked in, it got bananas. I enjoyed it, for sure. My wife gave it 65/86 minutes of sleep.

I’ve been a total simp for Robbie for 25 years, so I might’ve been the American most looking most forward to this flick. And it effing delivered. What a beautifully-shot & told story. And if you’ve ever wondered what it would look like if a monkey went into a alcohol/drug spiral, you’re going to love this.

This was the hardest one to follow, so far. It took an me four different viewing attempts to get it rolling. All the pieces came together at the end, but I still have questions about stuff near the beginning. And the chain of events in the twist reveal was a very creative reach. Still, amazingly shot and great production design.
