This film stabbed me in the gut and called me a single loser and I'm not even mad. Was it silly? Absolutely. Did I still cry every time spirit Colin firth wafted into shot? Definitely. A great homage to the original film and a lovely exploration of grief, loneliness, desire and friendship.

Low stakes feel good chaotic vibes - great entertainment.

Bong Joon-ho is my favourite director! Robert Pattinson is a dream, Toni Collette is appropriately unhinged and loving Mark Ruffalo in his villain era.

Tense tense tense! Audible gasps were made.

A love letter to the power of the lesbian/ himbo team-up.

Rewatched this recently and was surprised to come away quite moved. If you can overlook the fact that Aster's character is the human equivalent of a plank of MDF, it's a brilliantly peaceful, unassuming and sweet coming of age story. Leah Lewis' fab performance as Ellie nostalgically draws you back into the complicated hopelessness and hopefulness of teenagehood.

Squahamish is the most American name for a town ever.

    BEWARE THE EVIL LORAX, CHILDREN.

Surprisingly really enjoyed this film. Theres something about the gothic genre that really nosses my feratu. Visually stunning and a film built for the cinema.

Depp was brill, love an American who can effortlessly pull off an English accent. Extra points for some really creepy seizing and writhing.

Sound designer was ON ONE and I loved it but also deeply sickening.

P.s. When Ellen and Thomas were hobbling through the plague-ridden and rat infested streets to get home. As a Londoner I really felt that.
