This was a silly film. Imagine marrying a billionaire old man and he dies at 75 — huge win. The most realistic thing about this film was the date scene at the beginning where the guy asks the girl zero questions even after she literally tells him about her parents dying. Also julianne moor just go and live somewhere sunny why are you staying in New York to meddle. RETIRE!

Watched this film ages ago so couldn’t remember the plot and was excited to watch again but thanks go to Lucinda for reminding me of everything that happens when she walked in five minutes in. It’s well known that I love the straights and this film is no exception. A very enjoyable Christmas Eve afternoon with a mince pie. One thing to note: Jude law is having a lot of sex in his sister’s bed and I just think it’s a little insensitive. If I were kate winslet I would be a bit annoyed.

Watching this movie summoned snow in Wheatley the next day! A Christmas miracle. Such a good way to get in the Christmas mood: great plot, exceptional chemistry and even better snowboarding tricks (even though she only did one jump in the whole film). Loved sharing the first half of this film with my bestie carli who also loved it. I would give it six stars if I could.
