A movie I’ve known existed and just never got around to it. We watch Oscar Issac try to big bro our main character Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson) for the entire movie. The dynamics between the AI robot played by Alicia Vikander and our two guys was very unnerving to watch unfold. Watching this movie and realizing we only meet 4 characters basically the whole movie was cool. Felt like you really spent 7 days watching this experiment unfold. Oscar Issac’s hubris was nasty at times to hear but that’s a billionaire tech guy for you.

This movie is such pinpointed time capsule of the zeitgeist of 04-06. From the music to demeanor of every character. Felt like the lite version of the kids from season 4 of the wire at times. Shout out Ashanti lol
