  I don't think I have seen a lot of Russian films but this one really caught my attention from the trailer all the way down to the final act of the film. The acting and the framing of each scene really allows the implications of the slow but steady descent into fanaticism to really settle in, as well as impart a sense of uneasiness that just crescendos to a great, but not necessarily satisfactory finale.
