If I could watch one movie for the rest of my life, this is it. It covers every emotion that you -I- like in a good story. It is sweet and tear-jerking and nostalgic and so many more things. It is beautiful to watch.

The characters are lovable and relatable, especially Amy for myself. She takes away any fear I have associated with being an artist. She is dramatic but so loving and feels her feelings so deeply. One of…

This doc is special to me because my Dad showed it to me on a whim. He loved it and thought I would too. I did. We went out that night and bought their vinyl, True Sadness. Then it snowballed into our special thing. We went and saw the Avett Brothers together and screamed all the songs, even made the goal of seeing them in all 50 states. And we're doing it! These shows are my favorite memories.

    Can I also just say

The irony of the capital losing their minds about the idea of Katniss being pregnant going into the games. Deciding that that is when they draw the line, that is when the games become unacceptable and inhumane. Not once in the past 75 years, when they were cheering and rooting for literal living children to win in the battle to the death.

This is a beautiful and inspiring portrayal of the appreciation of art, the way it can change our lives and our relationships. And man, the impact a good teacher can make. A bunch of rich, prestigious, little white boys being told to not be too cool for their own good while also learning to be in touch with their emotions. It is hopeful and beautiful and Robin Williams is perfect.
