Tintin et les oranges bleues was the first movie I ever saw, in 1964.

Rupture 1961
Things move quickly in a Pierre Étaix movie (I can generalize with confidence now that I've seen two). His character keeps on running into serious problems, and making lightning decisions about how to handle them – which always leads to worse problems. Eleven minutes of total hilarity.

Happy Anniversary 1962
This is an utterly charming and hilarious 12-minute movie by the truly amazing Pierre Étaix, created with the help of his co-director and co-writer Jean-Claude Carrière. I loved how the movie shows people trapped in cars, in traffic jams, in parking spots where they can't open the car door. Étaix is a memorable actor, and the man who spends the whole twelve minutes driving around with shaving cream on his face also deserves a mention (except I don't know his name).
