    Ace direction.

    Gorgeous cinematography.

    Surprisingly great lead performance.

Great themes on the ongoing evolution of art.

Dialogue is smart, but the story is meandering and often inconsequential.

Unfortunately Barry Jenkins’ direction couldn’t save the dull screenplay.

The colorless world began tiring my eyes despite the attempt of creative camera angles.

The most shocking part was how bland and forgettable Lin Manuel Miranda’s songs were. I guess you really shouldn’t rush artists.

Noah Baumbach is a decent director, but his good films are only made great through his decent writing. But when his scripts suck, his films become abysmal.

This film was absolute revolting garbage. There is almost no redeeming quality in this film. It is an absolute endurance test. It gives the audience hope that it’s going somewhere and it might be good and it might have something to say. But no.

The script is worse than the first draft of “The Room” read backwards.
This is Baumbach’s magnus opus of excrement.

I despise this film for wasting everyone’s time, especially Adam Driver’s, he deserves better than this.

We were all wrong this whole time, it shouldn’t have been called Barbenheimer, it should be Okenheimer because this is without a doubt Ken’s movie.

On the enjoyment scale this easily a ten out of ten. It is the funniest movie I’ve seen in a long time.

This is not a female empowerment movie. It’s a female AND male empowerment movie. This movie has a lot to say about societal norms, but it’s unfortunately never subtle.

    The dialogue is hilarious…
