  i really really liked this. i was more in the mood for a horror and was slightly disappointed by the small amount in this, but what you get is very creative and stylistic. won’t go on my favorite a24 list but i’m so glad i ignored the average 3 stars and went to go see it

  so-

  m. night, you either impress me or you impress me and disappoint me. this is the latter 

  there are a few incredible moments and shots in this movie but these are diluted by an otherwise common and basic sample of cliches and boring character moments. i loved the concept but feel as though the execution was a little dropped. 

  i will continue to hope that new schyamalan can impress me as much as the old could but the most recent movies haven’t been incredible.
