    It’s pretty silly and not super action-centric, but it’s surprising this isn’t revered more as one of the sci-fi classics of the 80s. It’s a really cool concept even if the execution isn’t absolutely amazing. I know there are a few bad sequels that Cronenberg didn’t do, but I feel like this should be talked about more and have like 9 sequels throughout the decade.

    Gene Hackman and his wife passed away this morning, apparently under suspicious circumstances which is extremely troubling and upsetting. He is truly one of the great actors of our time and his performance in The Royal Tenenbaums is maybe my favorite performance of all time so I wanted to check out another one of his classics.
