Doesn’t transcend its lane of “musician biopic” but is excellent within that form. Chalamet, Norton, and Fanning are all superb. Can’t see someone uninterested in Dylan or music history thoroughly enjoying it

Jumping around in time felt more like a gimmick than anything else. Characters were compelling enough (Garfield and Pugh are excellent) and the story was well told, but nothing that truly stood out.
