Aliens 1986
Alien introduced a gorgeous and a super interesting universe. Aliens strips all of that away and recruits Ripley to the United States Marines. Aliens, is like someone built a Michelin star restaurant and a new chef changed the menu to exclusively serve cheeseburgers. Still enjoyable, but not as good.

Speed Racer 2008
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
One of my favorite films. By no means perfect but its a great representation of formalism. You can't help but smile when Speed jumps out of the car at the end of the Casa Cristo or tear up when he defeats Royalton while the flashback cuts back and forth between his "deceased" brother and his other shots from his family. As stupid as this film gets it still evokes an emotional response from me every time.
