I love that harmless folk music is the villain in this one. Mysterious asshole uses the folk movement to gain notoriety and then shifts genres once he gets bored. But he’s mysterious, so it’s easy to romanticize. I’ve been waiting for the cinematic version of his story for a while and they did such a great job at making it come back to life. I will be talking in the Bob Dylan accent for the next couple days. Don’t question when you see me indoors with sunglasses on and a cigarette in my hand. Ok?

Nosferatu 2024
Just what I wanted and expected. Spooky, sexy, gothic horror. It’s nosferatu if he was more Rasputin and less vampire. I can watch the shadow hand crawl across the city for hours if they had the footage. Lilly Rose Depp finally gets to showcase her backbend and Aaron Taylor Johnson is fully clothed. Perfect movie to take the family for this holiday season.
