  I enjoyed this! Was it basically a remake of the 1st? Yeah. Was the CGI quite bad? Yeah. But I don’t care! Some truly great performances, sharks, and Alexander Karim (who was the best thing of Young Woman and the Sea). 

  Justice for Paul Mescal. I thought he was wonderful in this role and not just because I love looking at him. All hail Denzel Washington.

  This in theory had it all: Saoirse Ronan, Harris Dickinson, WWII, a moving plot, accents, period clothes. The execution, however, unfortunately did not work in the slightest. The acting at least was great?
