The amount of references to Miyazaki’s other movies is insane. This really feels like his final movie, especially with the fantasy world crumbling at the end. The ending went by quickly and I feel like Mahitos decision to call is aunt his mom was very rushed too.
The animation was BEAUTIFUULL there are so many small details that Miyazaki put so much care into, like going up stairs or drinking water. I want to get the DVD…Translated from by
