1917 is definitely a technical marvel. The camera work along with the cinematography is absolutely amazing and I felt awed whilst watching many scenes during the film. This aspect coupled with a fantastic score from Thomas Newman (seriously one of my favourite scores of 2019) effectively created an intense and emotional experience.
