Spite Marriage 1929
Shoot him. The audience will think it's part of the show.
Off of the stage and into the world (which is also a stage). Apparently this was Keaton's final silent film, which explains the strange mixture of silent and talkie techniques - the intertitles and timing are familiar and the characters don't speak but the score and the sound effects themselves are synchronized, turning it into a kind of almost-uttered hybrid with more specific noises and cues than I was…

Spider-Man: No Way Home 2021
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The latest detritus of the cultural apocalypse. Seeing this with a crowd - the first movie I’ve seen with a crowd in a very long time - was an intensely bleak experience. The corporate desecration of the medium continues, and people continue to gobble it up with a spoon.
