  All of the relationships were severely underdeveloped. Scott Pilgrim was also unlikeable in my opinion, so I wasn’t even rooting for his own personal development. Not only does he date a high schooler as a 23-year old, but he also has no self awareness and doesn’t care about the people that love him. I can appreciate a flawed hero though, and Micheal Cera did make Scott someone to root for. But only because he is Micheal Cera.
