two stars for the vibes i guess. this feels like a movie i would like but it's super hard to get past the casual racism and the fact that i just spent 2 hours watching a 15 year old and a 25 year old "fall in love". if the roles were reversed and gary was 10 years older than alana, there would be way more negative reviews of this movie i can tell you that. it really just feels like watching a string of unrelated events. lots of things happen,,,, but then go nowhere,,,,,,? idk, aesthetically i loved this movie but otherwise? meh.
