This being titled “John Grisham’s The Rainmaker” seems so clunky in present day but I guess there’s a precedent of Coppola doing that.
Weird tone to this, cartoony in a Coen way, then smaltzy, then dramatic.
There’s something there but the script is too easy, the three plot lines are so amateur in how cut and dry, good vs evil they are.
