When thinking of the high school stereotypes, jocks, cheerleaders, nerds and the rest of the lot, Heathers makes sure each one gets their mention, while simultaneously creating the “mean girl who runs the school” trope that would be used dozens of times afterwards. A new reiteration of the Joker and played perfectly by Phoenix in the role, you can’t mention the Joker without Ledger and he made the role his own in his own fantastic way.
But the hype behind it I felt like I expected a bit more? Nothing crazy to the plot or story but a good film that would leave most satisfied with walking out the cinema, but there is no need for a sequel and shouldn’t have to be that way.Translated from by -
