  I put this on immediately after Black Christmas because I hadn't watched it this year and wanted to close out the day with it - and then I realized I fell into a Bob Clark double feature and that was kind of perfect.

  Look, the title doesn't lie - and thank fucking goodness, because this is a masterpiece, right from the jump with "I don't want to be negative, but..." and "I think if you have hope, what are you, fucking 7?" Throughout the thing, the laughs are heartier and harder - in both senses of that word - than they've been in maybe any of Maron's previous specials (and they've been strong specials).
