Past Lives 2023
This felt close to home. I'm not Korean American, I can't say I relate to the romantic side of this movie, but the heartwrenching feelings this film was able to convey in a gentle way can't be understated. They accurately capture so many feelings associated with moving away from your birth country and feeling connected and disconnected at the same time. Beautifully shot and gently told. What a movie.

I'm not very familiar with this sport and didn't know a lot about the Olympics held in Nazi Germany. I learned a lot, enjoyed the cinematography and period fashion/clothing. A well told and inspiring story. Doesn't hurt that you also get to see Ted Lasso in his element before Ted Lasso aired.

The Iron Claw 2023
I watched iron claw last night and kinda loved it, not sure about the ending but I enjoyed the outfits and the music and the story was just so interesting. Also as a former hardcore wrestling fan, it does a good job covering the fun/highs as well as the very low lows of the industry.
