That look at the end Benny gives to his girl. Heartbreaking at first like what going through his head? Contemplation of the past? Regret? Sorrow? Bitterness at loss? Then that twinkle in his eye and a shared smile with her. Like you know what no matter what in the end I got her. She was Bennys lifeline and she saved him. I can’t help but believe her when she says they’re happy. Sure they lost a few but in the end they still had each other. What a tour de force Austin Butler was in this film. I need to see him in more things often.

What a beautiful album. First time seeing this fully. YouTube clips I always grew up with finally on the big screen. Tapped my feet and bobbed my head throughout. Each song went well with the story.

Everything you know to be true in your heart is shown here through Mr. Roger’s soul.

In “Anora,” Sean Baker explores aggressive opulence and moral challenges, focusing on the immaturity and self-identity struggles of its characters. The film does not shy away from depicting the crude realities of life, highlighting the collective guilt of the characters who sacrifice the richness of life for fleeting pleasures. It also examines the peculiar humiliation of trying to please family or co-workers, adding depth to their motivations. Ultimately, “Anora” encourages an internal dialogue about forging one’s identity amidst life’s struggles, prompting viewers to reflect on their own choices in the face of societal expectations.
