See No Evil by Richard Fleischer is a breathtaking, mysterious and suspenseful horror film. Fleischer crafts a nail-biting tale that's held together by a twisty script from Brian Clemens, a stunning performance from Mia Farrow and directing without obnoxious horror tropes. The cinematography from Gerry Fisher (Wolfen, Highlander, The Exorcist 3) perfectly captures the haunting juxtaposition of country house grandeur with maniacal cold terror. Terrifier 3 2024
Third time's the charm! Terrifier 2 was a step in the right direction but Terrifier 3 is the swing for the fences this series needed to rise above amateur hour and into eye-popping horror history. Rest assured, those who love the nasty gore won't be disappointed, as this is as stomach churning and dementedly funny as it gets. Beyond the guts; Damien Leone has dramatically improved in both visual storytelling and in editing. Everything from the characters, music, to the brilliantly edited comedy is perhaps the best this can be without losing the DNA of Terrifier.

Caveat 2020
A decent first feature from Damian Mc Carthy (Director of Oddity). The movie leans more towards a crime/thriller feel but still has some great horror twists and scares. Just like with Oddity, I don't feel disappointed by any of the story reveals, as they feel earned and add an engaging amount of depth. Same goes for what isn’t explained, which adds something to let our minds fill in. Overall, I wanted more from Caveat and the pace drags a bit in the third act but the various moments of horror are really well done.

Voir 2021
An inconsistent, mostly arrogant, mixed bag of film analysis. Some episodes have historically interesting and thoughtful observations, while others brush with generalizations, find formula within a handful of films, or make their own narrative by cherry-picking scenes. I shouldn't finish an episode and be relieved and thankful it's over, but that's what I found because there was a condescending tone to most narrators.
