Original Cast Album: Company 1970
Very enjoyable. I had not listened to this cast album as much as the later one so it was very informative to hear this score as it was originally written. There was more “character” than melodic singing here compared to the revival versions. I imagine every person part of any revival listened to this and thought about the choices the original cast made for these characters and it was interesting to see what was toned down or amped up. I…
