Soul 2020
Soul uses the familiar struggling artist trope to explore familiar themes like passion vs practicality and discovering ones raison d’être. I liked that Pixar even decided to tackle this kind of story, as I thought their expertise in simplicity and emotion building would do well for this kind of story.
