    Was treated to an authentic 35mm viewing of the film, which was delightful.

    There was a speaker at this event, who talked a bit about the history of the film before we watched it. He said that the original ending was shuttered by the production code, and Hitchcock had to create a new ending that followed the code.     First off, the cinematography in this movie is incredible. The use of reflections, PoV shots, and quick match cuts are downright riveting.     Even for a comic book movie this film felt absolutely ridiculous. Violent, bloody, gory, and completely over-the-top in terms of plot, characters (both heroes and villains) and execution. But it was great as it really embraced all those elements. Fantastic R-rated film that cranked up the "comic book" scale to 11.
