  Oh I really did like this one when I saw it the first time in theaters.

  I was entertained then and was again this time around.

  We put it on for a background movie but it got most of our attention. And how could it not?

  John Carter, from Virginia gets transported to Mars a.k.a. Barsoom and joins those on the planet in their fight.

  It's just a fun movie, capturing adventures and imagination. I just need that most of all right now so John Carter entertained me once again.

  My previous rating holds, so this time you get a star rating out of me.

  Watched this one for Gene Hackman, thanks to my dad finding it.

  What a movie; a visual, beautiful feast and wow moments.

  Gene Hackman found lots of gold, staking his claim! Now a very rich man we go along with him later on where he is on his island with wife and grown daughter (Teresa Russell). Is he happy? What more could he need? He disapproves of his daughter's husband (Rutger Hauer).

  Hey!! Hey!! Dude, I got to go out and see a movie on a big screen!!!!

  My guy Dave and I got our kiddo to let us go out!! (Yes, kiddo is spoiled!)
